Reighton Nursery

An excellent place to buy plants. Many garden centres are full of novelty items, accessories and sweets. Reighton Nursery is not one of those. This place is full of plants. There are vast areas of pots containing a huge range of plants. They do also sell compost, bulbs etc but their primary products are plants. The prices are also very good and service was friendly. The place for plants.

First time I've been here, just happened to be passing after a day in Filey and glad I popped in. Great plants at fantastic prices, far cheaper than a garden centre, I'm just replanting a section of garden and got a good few plants to start me off. I will get these in and go back for more. We'll worth a visit, just make sure you've got a couple of hours to spare to have a good look round. Staff are very friendly too.

Me and my disabled Wife went on the August Bank Holiday Monday. For a trip out after lockdown and shielding as she is extremely vulnerable to infections. To buy 3 oak barrels,compost and plants, which we have wanted from there for a while. £100 to £150 worth of goods. We got shouted at by an elderly lady assistant with glasses for unknowingly using a staff wheelbarrow, this went for 5 minutes, in front of other customers. I put 3 half barrels in the wheelbarrow as she passed. I cued for the checkout, this same assistant was blazing about 3 barrels high in a wrong barrow. Shouting and called a young male assistant to help. I thought he was going to steady the barrels while I took them to the car, he started shouting "go on then, go " we said thats it we are leaving with no purchase. This calmed the situation down. The barrels and 3 bags of compost were put in the car, with the help of the male assistant. I said to the male assistant, that the female assistant was rude and very stressed, having a rant at us twice, like naughty school children. He replied "possibly because we are 2 members of staff down today ". This is ridiculous and spoiled our trip and day. We paid for what we had loaded into the car and shall never return again... Poor Service.

Best Nursery ever!! The range of plants, trees, and everything you could possibly want from a proper nursery as opposed to "Garden Centre". Despite an atrocious day weather wise it still impresses. Well worth going. May 27th. Called for extra plants today and the place was buzzing. Superb range of bedding and perennial plants. Stunning roses at great prices. Helpful advice whenever you ask. It never fails to make you want more and more. Plus a great fresh bread and pie stall in the carpark!!
